Still Life

The plant changed into a broken steam overnight. It looked like it had never been alive.

I tried to remember what it looked like yesterday but I was distracted by the empty silence where the green used to breathe.

It’s actually spring here in Villa del Parque and the plants are looking pretty bitching.
